seems to me that the florida democratic party is largely to blame for this.
living in a state with a “late”, post super-tuesday caucus/primary, i don’t have a lot of sympathy for the florida democrats jumping ahead in line to get attention, getting that attention, then asking for more attention and to be a late primary/caucus, after initially deciding that being late was worthless and jumping ahead in the first place.
sort of reminds me of a kid throwing a tantrum about having to skip dessert after getting caught stealing cookies earlier in the day.
the people of florida now are suffering for the profound miscalculations of the politically immature, local democratic apparatchiks. watching it all play out is a sorry story indeed..
