She played well to the base. Her mocking of Obama won’t play well to the undecided. At least he made it through 56 primaries and 18 million votes.
You’re right about the Left. She’ll drive them as nuts as Obama drives the Right. LOL.
Overall, a great night for Republicans. Enjoy!
She’s the female Reagan. Should McCain lose and Palin shines like she did tonight the 2012 nomination is her to lose.
Absolutely loved it. She took the kid gloves off and took it straight to Obama. The message was clear – “I have a better resume than you do, want to debate it? Let’s get it on.” Exactly what the Repubs need to do if they are going to win this election. They need to expose Obama for what he is.
I really enjoyed Romney, Huckabee, and Guiliani speeches as well. Nicely done.
Personally, I thought she showed a lot of class up there. After a week of the democrats embarrassing Obama with their Jerry Springer antics, her civilized quips about things like Styrofoam columns were perfect. She sounds great when she’s talking about energy too. Sharp and passionate. More of that please.
The GOP hit a home run last night with every speech. Palin was fantastic. To be honest, I’m glad she didn’t use the speech to pander to the undecided. Before going after those undecided votes, she needed to truly introduce and prove herself to the Republican base, which she accomplished in overwhelming fashion last night. I was PUMPED UP. She’s what we need, for sure.
In addition, I wouldn’t be so sure that the speech didn’t help her with undecided voters either. Let’s not lose sight of the fact that the jabs she threw in Obama’s direction, which seem to be stinging the eyes of liberal columnists and blogs everywhere this morning, were direct consequences of the jabs Obama’s camp has tossed in her direction since Friday. I don’t think this fact escaped the undecided voter last night. Evidently for libs, mocking is only okay if it comes out of Denver.

I would love it if Sarah Palin were to become America’s Iron Lady. I, too, was pumped up watching her speech last night. I’m also glad she didn’t use her speech to try to persuade the undecided. I feel as though Obama is slowly but surely becoming exposed as what he truly is. A nightmare for this country. The first thing that needs to change in this country is what is considered acceptable to society. Gay marriage and abortions should not be considered acceptable practices. This country is never going to function on the notion that a woman can do what she wants with her body and that it’s fine if too men wed each other. Why don’t we try going back to someone whose values are based on the core Christian values this country was built upon. This may be hard, we have drifted so very far away from that.

Here’s a time machine…I think you’ll be more comfortable in the 1950s.

Sorry…too snarky. However, it’s a mistake – and grossly arrogant – to assume the right to decide what is considered acceptable to society.
There are values which are important and create the foundation of what America is. Christianity doesn’t corner the market in values such as integrity, honesty, hard work, respect. Allowing women choice, or same sex marriage doesn’t diminish these American values.
Christians rely too much on the Old Testament for guidance. With the New Testament, and with his sacrifice, Jesus threw out all the old Jewish laws and replaced them with the Golden Rule. The evangelicals spend way too much time dwelling on the Old Testament God.
She is a MILf . that helps
Bozinny, think you’re wrong about her not playing well to the undecided. I was leaning toward independent. Now, I’m giving McCain/Palin every chance to earn my vote.
