Oooooo, goodie! It’s official folks. The Republican National Convention’s Committee on Arrangements is open for business. How exciting.

And as predicted, the esteemed Maria Cino is President and CEO. The final act of the original Bushies. Woohoo. I am sooooo excited. Mostly because… well, I’m not staff anymore. So, I will be enjoying the convention, entertaining colleagues, and sharing the good stuff with my friends and family. The TMK team will all be there next September. When warranted, I’ll provide updates.

For those of us who were Bushies from the beginning… it will not only be the nomination of our next President – it will be a chance to say goodbye to President George Walker Bush. He is still the man we believed in, when he was Governor of Texas. He is still the man we elected twice. It has been a long, tough road. In Minneapolis, he strongest supporters will watch him take the stage before delegates, alternates, staff, donors, and political colleagues for the last time as President.
