This is one of those too obvious moments… for a couple of hours this morning, snow fell in Baghdad. Known for the 140 Fahrenheit summers that last month after month, and the widely accepted belief that a one degree jump from global warming doesn’t matter all that much – Baghdad enjoyed a wintry moment unlike any in the previous 100 years.
That said, if it can snow in Baghdad – then maybe peace will break out too. Maybe.
